Creating the Search Plugin

To start creating your custom Search Plugin, select "Product Search and Discovery" from the Discovery Plugins menu.

Please note this will replace your current default search of the platform.

You can set the language for product attribute tags and create customizable campaign collections.

Product Attribute Tags Display Language

Set the display language for the top trending product attribute tags presented below the search bar. This enhances the search experience. You can set the display language into English, Chinese or Japanese.

This language setting only applies to the product attribute tags displayed on the search page. It does not affect the language settings for your overall e-commerce platform.

This product tag feature is currently only available for the fashion industry. If you are not a fashion retailer, you can skip ahead to Create new collection section

Create new collection section

Step 1: Position

To initiate the customization of your collection, carefully review and proceed with the statement below:

Please be aware that this plugin will replace the existing search user interface on your e-commerce platform.

Step 2: Content Settings

Create up to three promotional campaign collections, providing the following details:

1. Upload an optional 800*400 px horizontal banner image.

2. Title

3. Description

4. Destination link - It is recommended to direct shoppers to a related product list page or product page.

Step 3: Design

Customize the search page design, including colors, text, fonts, etc.:

• Background (search page)

• Placeholder text of the search bar

• Search page title, font weight, color, transform, and font size

• Section header

  • Product tags title text

  • Collection’s title text, font weight, color, transform, and font size

• Product tags and Collection’s background color, text color, font weight, and font size

Step 4: Review

Review your Search Plugin settings and choose to either publish or save it as a draft. You're now ready to launch your new discovery experience!

1. Observe the actual presentation of the Search Plugin on the right-side panel to see how it will appear on the webpage. Click "Save and continue" to proceed to the next step.

2. After confirming the interface presentation in the "Overview" section, click "Launch Now" to make the Search Plugin appear on your e-commerce website for customers to browse.
