Create from a Preset Recommender

Step 1: Select a preset Recommender

When you create a new recommender, you will see six different predefined presets after one-click setup. They are quick starting points to set up recommenders for your store. Each of them contains a suggested combination of recommendation type, page placement and layout that tends to generate optimal results. We suggest setting up at least one recommender each from every preset for optimal overall configuration throughout your store.

The preset recommenders are as below:

Product Details Page Sticky Widget	Bestsellers Recommendation	Product List Page	Pop-up: Right Tab	Provides a sticky widget with bestsellers recommendation for customers to consider while browsing the product list page.
Product Details Page Page Items	Similar Products	Product Details Page	Page Items: Basic Product Recommendation Carousel	Assists visitors in quickly finding their desired products and recommends items they are likely to love and purchase, increasing conversion rates!
Shopping Cart Page Items	Items to Take Together	Shopping Cart Page	Page Items: Basic Product Recommendation Carousel	By suggesting additional and cross-selling items, it encourages customers to add more to their shopping cart, effectively increasing the average order value.

After selecting your desired default recommendations, please click Continue.

Step 2: Name your recommender

At the top of the page, click the pencil icon next to New Recommenders to name your recommended placements.

Tips: You can add descriptive words to your recommended placement name, such as date or campaign goals. This way, it's immediately clear what the placement is used for.

For example, if you were to put a recommendation space on your website's homepage and want to use it to recommend the most popular products for summer 2022, you could write:Home Page - Popular Products - June to August 2022

Step 3: Position

In the default settings, the best pop-up location has been preconfigured. However, to prevent the default position from blocking other features on your store, you can still change the location. Here are the available options:

1. Full-page Sticky Widget: Left, Right

2. Homepage Pop-up: Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Center, Right Tab

3. Product List Page Page Items: Top, Bottom

4. Product Details Page Sticky Widget: Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Center, Right Tab

5. Product Details Page Page Items: Top, Bottom

6. Shopping Cart Page Items: Bottom (Fixed Position)

Once you return to create the recommendation slot, please click Next again.

Step 4: Design

You can choose the layout design from two default styles:

1. Minimal (White background + Black text)

2. Dark (Black background + White text)

You can also create a custom recommendation slot that reflects your brand. Click on the Advanced Options.

You can design the background, title, products, and sales information according to your preferences.

Each adjustment can be previewed in real-time on the right panel. The default presentation for product recommendations is primarily designed for desktop. If you want to preview your product carousel on a mobile device, click the phone icon above the preview panel. You can return to the desktop preview by clicking the computer icon.

Once you have finished editing, please click Next.

Step 5: Check

You can review your recommender in the right panel. You have 3 options for next step:

1. Publish your product recommendation on your website. Click "Publish immediately” to let product carousels be displayed on your website for customer to browse.

2. Save the recommendert as a draft. Click "Disk” icon to save the recommender and the settings which easy for your editing and review in the future.

3. Save your product carousel as a template to use as a default template for future designs. Click "Paper” icon to save the recommended placement as a template.

Congratulations! You have completed the Recommender!

We recommend you to clear the cache of the web page first before checking the page to see if the recommendation placement is published well that were set earlier. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our customer service!
