Whichever one you select, some options will remain the same. Read the instructions below to create your first promotion!
Once you have selected the type of promotion you’re running, click the pencil icon next to New Banner to create a custom title.
It’s good practice to give your promotions descriptive titles so that you remember what they are at a glance. You can add dates and campaign info as necessary. For example, if you’re going to place a promotion on your website homepage and for a winter sale, you might title it with something like this: Homepage - Winter Sale Dec 2022
There are several options for placing your banner on your website page:
The Bottom Left and Bottom Right options will place a small window with the promotions in the respective corner of your website.
The Center will place a large window in the center of your website.
The Right Edge Tab will place a button to the side of your page that can open to reveal the promotion. When clicked on by a customer, this will look the same as the Center type.
Note that coupon promotions will not have the Right Edge Tab option available, that layout is only for banner promotions.
Click through the options and look at the right preview panel to decide what position works best for your promotion.
When you are done click Next.
You get to choose your banner image! You need to choose an image that will display for mobile users and one that will display for desktop users of your site.
Images can be either a PNG or JPG but must be less than 5MB in size.
Mobile View Image - A 800px x 1200px size image is recommended.
Desktop View Image - A 2000px x 1000px size image is recommended.
To upload an image, click Upload Image for the desired view.
Select the desired image from your device. Once you have selected your image, a popup will open where you can crop your image to fit the recommended sizes.
A box identifies the part of your image that will make up your promotion. The greyed-out areas of the image will not appear on your promotion.
You can click and drag the selection box to choose what part of your image is used. You can also zoom in and out on an image with the selection box by using the scroll on your mouse.
Click Save and Confirm to add an image.
You can change an image by clicking the pencil icon next to its name and delete an image by clicking the trashcan icon.
You need to pick which page on your website a promotion will appear. If you select the Custom Page option, you will need to enter the desired page's URL address to place the recommender in that page.
Select the appropriate page and then click Next.
Manual Setting
If you check "Manual Open and Close," the push notification is used for campaigns without a set end date. If you don't want to display the push notification, you'll need to close it manually.
If you already have a start and end period, you can uncheck "Manual Open and Close" and select the start and end dates yourself.
Click on the chosen date, and the first day you click on in the calendar will be the start date of the push, and the second one will be the end date. The push on your website will automatically activate on the start date and pause on the end date.
You can use the left and right arrows at the top of the calendar to change the month.
You can also click on the start and end periods to manually input the dates.
Please note that when creating "Banner" and "Coupon Code", there are different content settings required in this step: Banner
You need to set the target URL of the push banner so that visitors can interact with the banner after seeing the popup—click and go to view marketing campaign information and products.
For internet security and privacy, please ensure that the link you input is in the https
protocol.
You need to add the "Coupon Code" and "Code copied notification text":
Auto-Copy Discount Code: Paste the marketing discount code you've set on the e-commerce platform into the field.
Success Copy Notification Text: This text will be shown to consumers after they have successfully copied the discount code, informing them that they have copied it and can continue to use it on the checkout page or the discount code page.
This is where you select when your promotion will display to customers. There are two choices for when customers will see your promotions and 1 additional trigger setting:
AI-driven - Our algorithm finds the most effective time to display your promotion.
Static - Every time a customer navigates to the webpage, your promotion will display.
Additional rules or exceptions Settings - You can use this advanced setting to define whether to prevent repeated triggering of the promotion to customers. This is disabled by default.
Banner Promotion: the promotion will not reappear after a customer clicks or closes the promotion popup if the advanced setting is enabled.
Coupon Code Promotion: the promotion will not reappear once a customer has copied that coupon code if the advanced setting is enabled.
If the coupon code for a Coupon Code Promotion is adjusted, the promotion with the new coupon code will appear again.
Pick the option that works best for your business and select Next.
The review section lets you check over the promotion in the right preview panel. When you are done, you have three options:
Publish the promotion to your website. Click Launch Now to make the promotion appear on your website for customers to see.
Save your promotion as a draft. Click the floppy disk icon to save the promotion and the settings you’ve adjusted so far for editing and review.
Save your promotion as a template to use as a starting point for later promotions. Click the paper icon to save the promotion as a template.
Congratulations, you’ve made a new AI-intent promotion!
